Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, strategic acquisitions, or related environment.
• Demonstrated success sourcing, qualifying, and advancing acquisition opportunities.
• Experience engaging with founders, owners, and senior executives with a research-driven approach.
• Experience with vertical-market software or ability to understand software markets.
• Clear point of view on applying AI to research, sourcing, prioritization, and workflow improvement.
• Willingness to travel within the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Identify vertical‑market software investment opportunities and assess strategic fit.
• Develop trusted relationships with founders, owners, and senior executives.
• Advance investments by coordinating with the M&A execution team through evaluation, offers, and closing.
• Collaborate with colleagues on research, outreach, calls, meetings, and opportunity evaluation.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve market mapping, target research, prospecting, prioritization, and workflow.
