Job summary

Harris Computer, a Constellation Software company, seeks an experienced Senior Corporate Development Associate to build and advance a pipeline of vertical-market software investments.

You will identify and assess potential targets, develop trusted relationships with founders and executives, and work with the M&A execution team to move opportunities through evaluation, offers, and closing, with travel across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, strategic acquisitions, or a closely related environment.
• Ability to identify and assess acquisition targets with disciplined due diligence.
• Demonstrated success sourcing and advancing acquisition opportunities—beyond transaction support.
• Strong relationship-building with founders, owners, and executives using research-driven origination.
• Clear point of view on applying AI to research, sourcing, and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Build a pipeline of vertical-market software investments.
• Develop trusted relationships with founders and executives and position Harris as long-term home.
• Advance investments with senior leadership and M&A execution team through evaluation, offers, and closing.
• Share feedback and lead by example to strengthen sourcing and investment judgment.
