Job summary

Zip Co Limited is hiring for a highly autonomous corporate development lead, focused on M&A and strategic investments. You will own valuation, diligence, and the preparation of board-ready materials while shaping Zip's capital allocation strategy.

In this role you will build models, test theses, and present clear recommendations to the US exec team. This is a remote-first US-based opportunity with a Manhattan in-person option, reporting to the US Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or related field; MBA/CFA is well regarded.
• 4–6 years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or top-tier strategy consulting.
• Hands-on involvement in M&A and investments through full deal cycle; buy- and sell-side exposure is a plus.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation capability with rigorous analysis.
• Experience leveraging AI to augment M&A lifecycle and due diligence processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day corporate development execution from screening to completion.
• Build and maintain a thesis-led pipeline with market mapping and target profiles.
• Develop investment/transaction models and perform scenario analyses.
• Analyze deal terms and support drafting and negotiations with advisers.
• Run due diligence across commercial, financial, and data rooms.
• Prepare board-grade materials and executive briefings with clear recommendations.
• Coordinate with external advisers and cross-functional leaders to move initiatives forward.
