Job summary

Zip Co seeks a Program Director who will serve as a senior individual contributor, translating strategy into execution for Zip’s most complex cross-functional initiatives. You will partner with executive leadership across Product, Strategy, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Credit Risk to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will define roadmaps, governance, and operating rhythms, balancing deeper dives when needed with lightweight processes.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in program management, strategy, operations, or related leadership within tech.
• 5+ years leading complex work in fintech, banking, payments, or consumer financial services.
• Proven track record of cross-functional program leadership with outcomes focus.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, AI, and automation to improve visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead Zip’s most strategic cross-functional programs and turn executive priorities into measurable outcomes.
• Own governance, roadmaps, and operating rhythms across multiple teams and initiatives.
• Synthesize signals, challenge assumptions, and provide concise executive views on health and risk.
• Coordinate change-management and organizational-transition activities with People & Culture.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and business teams to align execution with the program view.
