Job summary

Optimal Blue is seeking a business-minded Senior Corporate Counsel with 10+ years of legal experience to support its commercial contracting and legal operations. This role will draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements while providing practical legal guidance that balances risk with business objectives.

You will work with Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, and Human Resources to drive revenue growth, protect the company's interests, and improve contract processes

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of legal experience with significant commercial contracting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
• Provide practical legal guidance balancing risk with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, and HR to enable deal execution.
• Develop contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management and work with outside counsel as needed.
