ABB is seeking a senior in-house attorney to provide strategic legal advice and uphold integrity across the organization. The role focuses on compliance with laws and regulations while managing risk in a global, cross-border environment.

You will collaborate with commercial, sales, finance, HR, EHS, and supply chain teams to protect ABB interests, negotiate EPC/project contracts, and contribute to broader integrity initiatives. Applicants must have a US JD and bar admission, with 10+ PQE.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school with active bar admission and PQE 10+ years.
• Experience in international legal, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities under pressure.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with stakeholder influence across regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal support for EPC/project contracts from tender through disputes.
• Advise internal stakeholders (commercial, sales, finance, HR, EHS, supply chain) for compliance and protection of interests.
• Manage legal risk across competition law, data privacy (GDPR), product liability, and investigations.
• Contribute to integrity initiatives and participate in regional and global Legal & Integrity teams.
