Job summary

Airbnb is seeking an experienced corporate attorney to join the Corporate Legal team. You will partner with Corporate Development and other legal teams on M&A and related transactions, from assessment through negotiation and closing.

You will work closely with senior leadership, manage outside counsel, and help shape internal processes. A JD and 5+ years in M&A are required; US state licensure is mandatory. This role is US-remote eligible with some travel and office attendance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mergers, acquisitions, JVs, investments and other corporate transactions through all deal stages.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on M&A strategy and risk.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents and ancillary agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the company.
• Manage outside counsel and coordinate support during transactions.
• Contribute to improving internal legal processes for M&A.
• Assist on additional Corporate Legal matters as needed.
