Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join the U.S. Corporate and General Legal team in California. The role supports commercial activities, drafts and negotiates complex agreements, and provides strategic legal guidance across business units.

The successful candidate will have a J.D., 4+ years of experience, and strong contract, antitrust, and compliance knowledge, with excellent written and spoken English. Travel to domestic and international sites may be required.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent from a top law school.
• Bar membership; Oregon or California bar membership preferred.
• 4+ years of experience providing legal support for a multinational company.
• Strong contracts, process experience, antitrust, and ethics and compliance knowledge.
• Demonstrated expertise drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, prepare, and draft complex commercial agreements including equipment sales, service, and licensing agreements.
• Advise business units to protect Lam's confidential information and IP while meeting business objectives.
• Provide strategic and transactional support to management and operations.
• Develop and deliver training, templates, playbooks, and processes for efficient legal support.
• Provide timely legal advice on corporate and commercial matters and monitor regulatory developments.
