Global Payments is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel in the United States to support the Genius Point of Sale business across North America. You will draft and negotiate customer contracts, advise on regulatory matters, and help mitigate legal risk while enabling business growth.

The role requires a JD from an ABA-accredited school, 3–6 years of relevant experience, and strong communication. Location options include Atlanta, GA or Denver, CO with on-site work and relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and active U.S. state bar membership.
• 3–6 years of relevant legal experience, including both law firm and in-house.
• Experience drafting and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting and negotiation of customer-facing commercial agreements for Genius Point of Sale across North America.
• Provide practical legal guidance on contracts, regulatory matters, and pre-litigation disputes.
• Identify legal and business risks and develop solutions aligned with business needs.
• Manage complex negotiations including master services, NDAs, and related contracts.
• Support initiatives to improve efficiency and service delivery in the legal dept.
