Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join our Legal team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will lead negotiations and drafting of customer-facing commercial agreements for our Genius Point of Sale business across North America.

Ideal candidates hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school, are admitted to at least one U.S. state bar, and have 3–6 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active state bar.
3–6 years of relevant legal experience, including both law firm and in-house.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements.
Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholder influence.
Strong business judgment and ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead drafting and negotiation of customer-facing commercial agreements for Genius Point of Sale across North America.
Provide practical legal guidance on contracts, regulatory matters, and pre-litigation disputes.
Identify legal risks and develop solutions aligned with business objectives.
Manage negotiations including master services, partner and referral agreements, NDAs, and related contracts.
Support legal department initiatives to improve efficiency and service delivery.
