Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join the Legal team and shape the future of global commerce from Denver. You will lead drafting and negotiations of customer-facing agreements for the Genius POS business across North America.

You will partner with stakeholders, advise on regulatory matters, and identify risks to enable business objectives. Relocation is not available; location options include Denver or Atlanta, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
3–6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably both law firm and in-house.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

Lead drafting and negotiation of customer-facing commercial agreements for Genius Point of Sale in North America.
Partner with business leaders and legal colleagues to provide practical guidance on contracts and regulatory matters.
Identify legal and business risks and develop solutions aligned with business objectives.
Manage complex negotiations including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and related contracts.
Support legal initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability.
