Job summary

GenScript USA Inc./ProBio Inc. seeks a Senior Corporate Legal Counsel (Legal Director) to lead U.S. legal and compliance within a mid-sized in-house team in Piscataway, NJ.

Onsite role four days/week, focusing on contract reviews, legal research, corporate governance, and immigration-related tasks, reporting to the Legal Department. JD and 10–20 years’ experience are required with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and license to practice law required.
• Strong grounds in corporate law and compliance.
• Experience in in-house or law-firm environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and provide legal support to U.S. business units.
• Conduct legal research on issues assigned by supervising attorney.
• Coordinate with Corporate Secretary Office for U.S. entities and documentation.
• Manage litigation matters and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
• Assist with employment immigration/visa matters and related HR coordination.
