Job summary

GenScript USA Inc./ProBio Inc. is seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel to support the U.S. legal and compliance functions. The role is onsite in Piscataway, NJ four days a week and involves contract review, corporate governance coordination, and litigation management.

The candidate should have a J.D. and 5–10 years of legal experience with strong English communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. AI tools and LexisNexis experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree with 5–10 years of in-house or law-firm experience.
• Strong English written and spoken communication.
• Experience reviewing contracts and supporting US business units.
• Proficiency in legal research platforms and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and provide US business unit support.
• Coordinate with corporate secretary on US entity matters.
• Manage litigation and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Handle employment/immigration tasks with HR and law firms.
