Job summary

Milhaus SRG seeks a Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations across corporate, development, and property-management activities. You will ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls, while partnering with executives, auditors, and tax advisors.

The role requires 10+ years in real estate accounting, GAAP expertise, and a CPA is preferred. This position emphasizes accuracy, leadership, and strategic financial oversight across multi-entity structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ accounting experience in a multi-discipline real estate company.
• Experience with audits, multi-entity environments, and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, compliance and accounts payable.
• Lead month-end and year-end close, prepare financial statements per U.S. GAAP.
• Manage audits with external auditors and coordinate with leadership.
• Provide analyses, forecasts, and strategic financial recommendations.
• Drive process improvements and automation in accounting functions.
