Constellation Energy Corporation in Oswego, NY is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee and support corporate and unit accounting operations. You will produce accurate financial statements, coordinate month-end close, and ensure timely recording of transactions across business units.

The role requires a 4-year degree in accounting/finance, 8–10 years of accounting experience, and strong GAAP knowledge.

• Requires a 4-year degree in accounting, finance or general business administration.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Internal accounting controls acumen.
• Solid financial, mathematical and analytical capabilities.
• Strong project management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Contributes to monthly financial statement close process, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Prepare account reconciliations for corporation's entities and accounts.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for corporate entities for Board and Senior Management reporting and external reporting.
• Support GAAP changes and interact with auditors and Corporate Controller's Department.
• Contribute to accounting, analysis and budgeting of various accounts.
• Consult with operating unit finance personnel on accounting issues.
• Participate in special projects and requests for the Controller's Group.
