Job summary

b1BANK is seeking a Senior Corporate C&I Banker in Houston to lead development and management of a portfolio of middle-market clients. The role requires deep expertise in commercial lending, relationship management, and credit analysis to deliver tailored financing and treasury solutions.

You will structure and negotiate sophisticated credit facilities, mentor junior bankers, and collaborate across product teams to maximize loan growth while maintaining strong credit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of ten years in commercial lending, C&I banking, or related relationship management.
• Proven ability to develop and manage large commercial banking relationships.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of mid-market commercial clients and professional firms.
• Prospect for new business opportunities through networking and targeted calling.
• Structure, negotiate and close complex loan transactions (lines of credit, working capital, equipment financing, real estate).
• Provide consultative financial advice and cross-sell treasury and deposit solutions.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with lending policies and covenants.
• Collaborate with Credit, Treasury Management and other lines to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
