Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or high school diploma/GED with equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial banking experience.
• Ability to orchestrate organizational resources and build client-focused relationships.
• Thorough knowledge of loan standards, loan review administration, and banking/OCC procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven track record in sales with business development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Generate new loan and deposit business, according to assigned sales goals, by initiating and developing relationships with businesses, industries, developers and consumers.
• Maintain acceptable credit quality and appropriate loan pricing. Manage an individual portfolio and expand client relationships through partner referrals.
• Achieve sales targets by using a consultative selling approach to understand client needs, planning, building rapport, identifying opportunities, overcoming objections, and closing the deal.
• Leverage centers of influence to build a network and create a pipeline of business.
• Loan originations: evaluate loan requests for proper purpose, structure and pricing; partner with support staff to ensure the origination process meets bank and client expectations; seek guidance from other lenders and executives to deliver optimal terms.
• Portfolio management: manage a portfolio to maintain professional relationships, monitor loan standards, meet targets, and address delinquencies and potential classifications promptly.
• Demonstrate key competencies such as strategic thinking, communication, decision making, problem solving, client delight, and risk management in daily activities.
