The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented, analytical mindset and excellent written and verbal communication to support contract review, employment matters, and corporate governance. The role involves drafting and negotiating master transportation agreements, broker-carrier relationships, and related agreements, as well as handling disputes, liaising with outside

Competenze

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan and in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan.
• 10+ years as an associate attorney.
• Ability to work independently in court as well as in a team environment.

Mansioni

• Contract Review: reviewing bids, equipment purchases and sale agreements, and contractor agreements/POs, operating agreements and member consents.
• Drafting and preparing purchase agreements, broker-carrier agreements, master transportation agreements, and trailer interchange agreements.
• Employment Matters: handling legal cases, including EEOC mediation and non-compete disputes.
