Job summary

Circle Logistics in Fort Wayne, Indiana seeks a Junior Attorney to join the Legal & Compliance team. The role owns day-to-day management of commercial agreements from review through redline to execution, and provides direct support on employment matters, restrictive covenants, and freight claims.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, HR, and outside counsel to move deals quickly while protecting the company’s risk position, drafting enforceable documents and advising on liability issues.

Qualifications

• Active bar admission in Indiana or eligibility for Indiana admission
• 0–3 years of practice experience in contracts, transportation, or employment law
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
• Familiarity with Carmack Amendment and transportation liability concepts

Responsibilities

• Review, redline, and negotiate carrier and broker agreements, NDAs, and leases
• Support employment matters, EEOC responses, and HR investigations
• Enforce restrictive covenants and prepare cease-and-desist actions
• Review cargo claims and freight disputes; analyze liability exposure
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and outside counsel to move deals forward
