Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- At least 5 years of corporate law experience.
- Licensed to practice in Illinois.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Experience handling multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on corporate matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate documents (M&A, partnerships, stock purchase, etc.).
- Advise on governance matters, including resolutions and charters.
- Assist with corporate structure, rights, obligations, and privileges.
- Prepare and file required filings with entities.
- Oversee due diligence and risk management.
- Collaborate with other departments for legal compliance.
- Stay updated on laws and regulations.
