Job summary

Baseten is hiring a Corporate Accounting Manager to own the general ledger, close processes, and internal controls as the company scales. This hands-on role focuses on tightening close procedures and building reporting rigor across the organization.

You'll partner with FP&A, Data, and cross-functional teams to ensure books close on time and accurately each cycle, while maintaining audit readiness and NetSuite-based workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ in corporate accounting
• Deep US GAAP knowledge across corporate accounting areas
• Hands-on with reconciliations and monthly statements
• Experience owning the close calendar, not just contributing
• Public company or audit-ready private company background
• Experience with NetSuite and spend management tools

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day general ledger journal entries and reconciliations
• Lead month-end and year-end close calendars and accuracy checks
• Prepare monthly financial statements and flux analyses for leadership
• Own audit deliverables, memos, and testing support
• Tighten controls and partner with cross-functional teams and auditors
