Job summary

StepStone Group is seeking a Manager for the corporate accounting team to oversee day-to-day accounting, close, and reporting for subsidiary entities. You will supervise accounting staff, review deliverables, strengthen controls, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years of experience, and CPA preferred. Prior Big 4 or Large Regional exposure, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel/NetSuite skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, including process reviews.
• Supervisory or people-management experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or Large Regional) preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting-understanding.
• Experience with international entities and foreign currency translation a plus.
• Experience with investment partnership accounting a plus.
• Proficient in Excel/Word; NetSuite GL experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close and related accounting activities for subsidiary entities.
• Review financial statements, journal entries, GL reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with cash management; oversee AP/AR and expense reporting.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audit for subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and controls; maintain statutory filings.
• Collaborate with U.S. accounting and other subsidiaries; resolve intercompany matters.
