Job summary

ICON is seeking an experienced Manager of Corporate Accounting in Austin, TX to own the day-to-day accounting engine and lead critical close processes. You will manage monthly closes, GL maintenance, and policy development alongside the Controller to scale with growth.

You will also supervise AP, leases under ASC 842, fixed assets, and payroll accounting, while driving internal controls and automation in NetSuite and related systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with close management and GL.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience; CPA required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong ERP experience; NetSuite and Coupa preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex models and analyses.
• Cross-functional collaboration with FP&A and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close for corporate accounting workstreams.
• Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts; improve close calendar and policies.
• Own accounting for capitalized software and payroll-related liabilities.
• Oversee accounts payable, leases under ASC 842, and fixed assets roll-forwards.
• Drive internal controls and automation within NetSuite and connected systems.
• Lead and develop the corporate accounting team; partner with People Operations, Procurement, and FP&A.
• Coordinate external audit deliverables and support consolidated financial statements.
