Rock-It Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting in New York City to lead the monthly and quarterly close, own the general ledger, and ensure accurate, audit-ready financial records across entities and currencies.

You will mentor a team of accounting professionals, partner with FP&A, Tax, and Treasury, and drive process improvements, internal controls, and close efficiency using NetSuite and related tools.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Public accounting background; Big Four or national firm experience a plus.
• Experience in private-equity-portfolio reporting.
• Demonstrated ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Experience working in a multinational environment with multiple entities and currencies.
• People leadership experience; mentoring and development of accounting teams.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal-control environment.

Responsabilités

• Own and streamline the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including close calendar, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, consolidations, and financial statement tie-outs.
• Coordinate with regional finance teams to ensure timely submissions and consistent application of accounting policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the corporate accounting team with clear ownership and deadlines.
• Oversee key corporate accounting areas: cash, prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, leases, intangibles, payroll-related accounts, and other GL activities.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts per US GAAP.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, balance confirmations, settlements, eliminations, and currency matters.
• Review reconciliations and variance analyses; communicate developments to leadership.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and processes with documented procedures.
• Support annual audits with reconciliations, schedules, and auditor responses.
• Partner with FP&A to explain results and forecasting impacts.
• Assist in integrating acquired businesses with policy alignment and reporting requirements.
• Drive process improvement, automation and AI-enabled solutions across accounting.
