NerdWallet, Inc. seeks a Senior Corporate Accounting & Compliance Analyst II to support growing and increasingly complex accounting operations.

This role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting & Compliance, will cover key GL areas and play a critical part in month-end close, internal reporting, and audit readiness. This high-impact role requires a technical mindset, strong collaboration, and a passion for using AI and automation to work smarter, with opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in accounting, with external audit and industry experience.
• Active CPA license is required.
• Solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Hands‑on SOX controls experience.
• Experience with large ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).

Responsabilités

• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for key GL areas including software, compensation, prepaids, accruals, and fixed assets.
• Own assigned month-end close tasks and support consolidations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accrual accuracy.
• Review GL work by offshore team for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly internal management reporting for CFO review.
• Support external audit and quarterly reviews by executing SOX controls.
• Advance AI/automation initiatives to improve processes.
• Assist in M&A transaction accounting and integration.
