Palmetto is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator in Charlotte, NC to lead the Core Systems ecosystem. You will own SaaS applications, APIs, and ITSM while driving automation, security, and AI-driven improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of experience in Systems Administration or IT Engineering.
• Hands-on SaaS administration and ecosystem management.
• Experience with API integrations and middleware platforms (Tray.io or similar).
• ITSM platforms and workflows.
• Identity management (SSO, SAML, SCIM) and MDM.
• Automation via scripting or low-code platforms.
• Experience with AI-driven tools is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage SaaS applications from access, configuration, and lifecycle perspectives.
• Architect and lead Core Systems projects to improve business operations.
• Optimize onboarding/offboarding workflows through automation.
• Support and enhance security and compliance initiatives.
• Mentor junior staff and act as a technical leader within the team.
• Own and drive IT-related AI initiatives across the organization.
• Serve as the primary administrator for key systems (Google Workspace, Tray.io, API integrations).
• Design and maintain automation workflows to reduce manual processes.
