Job summary

Palmetto is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst based in Charlotte, NC, to bridge business and IT for NetSuite, Stampli, and Workiva. You will document requirements, configure ERP settings, and drive end-to-end improvements across O2C, P2P, and R2R processes.

You will own ITGC controls, SoD governance, and SDLC artifacts, while collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain to deliver reliable, auditable financial data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite Business Analysis or ERP experience.
• Functional expertise across O2C (Order-to-Cash), P2P (Procure-to-Pay), and R2R (Record-to-Report) cycles.
• Demonstrated experience authoring BRDs, IDDs and FSDs.
• Working knowledge of ITGCs and Application Controls within an integrated ERP environment.
• Proficiency with workflow automation, saved searches, reports, dashboards, custom fields, and forms in NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles and access control governance.
• Ability to perform NetSuite system configuration independently without developer dependency for standard customizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end enhancement lifecycle for multiple applications concurrently (requirements, design, build, test, deploy).
• Configure roles, permissions, custom forms, workflows, and scripts.
• Manage the NetSuite subsidiary, location, and entity structure to support multi-entity consolidation.
• Document business requirements from Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders.
• Standardize the requirements of development or external development partners.
• Translate functional needs into configuration specs, such as: saved searches, workflows, custom fields, and custom records.
• Own ITGC controls, including access controls, change management, and operations controls.
• Enforce SDLC documentation requirements for all development and automation efforts.
• Perform risk assessment for production changes and ensure all BRDs, FSDs, and UAT evidence are archived.
• Maintain SoD matrix and review access conflicts quarterly.
• Act as the technical contact for auditors and quickly fix findings.
• Monitor integrations across systems to ensure data integrity.
• Build end-to-end process maps across O2C, P2P, R2R and other cycles.
• Identify high-impact manual tasks and drive automation via workflows and third-party integrations.
• Design automated approval chains with SoD controls embedded at the workflow level.
• Proactively identify AI-driven capabilities to streamline financial processes.
• Design and own test script library for NetSuite configurations and UAT.
