Job summary

The Leffell School in Hartsdale, NY is seeking a full-time Senior Cook. The role runs Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm, with prior hot cooking experience preferred. You will prepare entrees, follow established recipes, and uphold HACCP safety standards.

Some supervisory duties may be required as assigned by the Food Service Director. Benefits include free meals, uniforms, laundering, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous hot cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Prepare entrees and menu items following recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment; perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for quality and safety.
• Maintain production records and assist with documentation.
