Job summary

Compass Group USA through Flik Independent School Dining seeks a Senior Cook for The Leffell School in Hartsdale, NY. This full-time, Monday–Friday position runs from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with online applications accepted. Prior hot cooking experience is preferred to prepare nutritious, flavorful meals following established recipes.

Qualifications

• Previous hot cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee basic cooking activities and follow established recipes.
• Prepare entrees and maintain food safety standards.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment and perform routine cleaning.
• Label, store and date food items; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and health regulations.
• Assist in maintaining daily production records and documentation.
• Support cross-training of staff and other duties as assigned.
