Qualifications

• Nassau County Board of Health Certification.
• Proficient in English reading and speaking; follow recipes and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and service of meals according to daily school menus and portion guidelines.
• Organize kitchen operations; ensure safe cooking, presentation, and on-time service.
• Support and guide team members to maintain a clean, efficient kitchen environment.
• Oversee food orders, inventory, and deliveries for smooth operation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and allergy accommodations.
• Keep accurate production sheets and temperature logs.
