Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals for inmates and staff.
• Ensures safety in food handling activities.
• Maintains kitchen inventory and records.
• Records meal counts, supply orders, and temperatures.
• Maintains sanitary standards and hygiene in all kitchen areas.
• Complies with health department requirements and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Works flexible hours including weekends/holidays and rotation.
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs and work at alternate locations during emergencies.
