Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf in Lincoln, CA is seeking a Cook 4 to join the Food & Beverage team. This hourly, full-time role focuses on food preparation, cooking, plating, and service under the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years cooking in commercial kitchen.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Master all kitchen stations and plating.
• Teach staff station assignments and recipes.
• Lead kitchen service, read tickets, monitor times and standards.
• Develop weekly and daily specials as needed.
• Ensure superior guest satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Maintain cleaning schedule and sanitary environment.
• Assist with equipment operation and safety.
