Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Cook 4 to join the Food & Beverage team in Treasure Valley. The role includes food preparation, cooking, plating, and assisting in service under the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.

The successful candidate will have at least three years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen, a High School diploma, and a current Food Handlers card. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required; compensation is hourly with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work and master all kitchen stations, including plating and expeditor.
• Lead a kitchen service, read tickets, and monitor ticket times.
• Assist management with developing weekly and daily specials.
• Ensure superior standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Read and follow cooking instructions; read recipes and scale ingredients.
• Assist with training new staff on stations and recipes.
