Job summary

The Potomac Hotel, Autograph Collection, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking a Senior Convention Services Manager in Washington, DC. You will lead complex conferences, manage client objectives, and coordinate cross‑departmental operations to deliver exceptional events.

You will collaborate with Sales, Banquets, Culinary, and Engineering to translate contracts into detailed plans, ensure flawless execution, and maximize guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities in a full‑service

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience in convention services, catering, or events.
• Strong knowledge of hotel event operations and BEO processes.
• Ability to manage multiple complex programs with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary hotel contact for convention and group clients from turnover to post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate all aspects of programs, including guest rooms, meeting space, F&B, AV, transportation, and VIP needs.
• Prepare and review event documentation (BEOs, resumes, schedules) and ensure accuracy.
• Lead planning meetings, site tours, tastings, and client briefings; maintain proactive client communication.
