Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Sales Manager for The Potomac Hotel, Autograph Collection in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on generating group business, building relationships with meeting professionals, and maximizing revenue within assigned market segments.

You will prospect new opportunities, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts while collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hotel sales, hospitality sales, or related business development experience preferred.
• Previous group sales experience within an upscale, luxury, full-service, convention, or large urban hotel strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect for new business, develop accounts, negotiate effectively, and convert opportunities.
• Knowledge of the Washington, D.C. hotel market and relevant group business segments is highly desirable.
• Experience with corporate, association, government, SMERF, or other group markets preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, develop, and secure new and repeat group business to achieve revenue goals.
• Manage accounts, segments, and territories; build a qualified pipeline.
• Develop compelling proposals and conduct site inspections to position the hotel.
• Negotiate terms and contracts within parameters; ensure accurate proposals.
• Maintain forecasts and collaborate with Sales leadership to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
