Job summary

Mars in Henderson, NV seeks a Senior Controls Technician to ensure efficiency, safety, and reliability of the site’s manufacturing control systems. You’ll work with PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, and data systems while developing Maintenance Technicians and managing calibration and other key programs.

The role requires 3–5 years of factory controls/IT experience, NFPA 70E certification, and the ability to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Factory Controls & IT experience.
• Possess or can obtain NFPA 70E certification (electrical safety).
• Ability to support day, afternoon, or night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement changes to improve plant performance using existing or new control systems.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns with PLCs, HMIs, and drive systems using electrical schematics and test equipment.
• Train Maintenance Technicians in troubleshooting, repairing, and commissioning electrical control devices.
• Act as a technical resource to operations and maintenance on control issues.
• Prepare documentation and training materials for plant automation systems.
