Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates in Henderson, NV seeks a Senior Controls Technician to ensure efficiency, safety, and reliability of the site’s electrical and control systems. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, data systems, and calibration programs while coaching Maintenance Technicians.

This role requires 3–5 years of experience in factory controls, NFPA 70E certification, and the ability to support multiple shifts. You will lead projects and supervise contractors to uphold plant performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of factory controls and IT experience.
• NFPA 70E certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Ability to work day, afternoon, or night shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify improvements to plant performance using existing or new control systems.
• Program PLC logic, HMIs, and servo controllers to enhance equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns using electrical schematics and test equipment.
• Train Maintenance Technicians in troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning of control devices.
• Prepare system documentation, SOPs, and training materials for plant automation.
• Own Factory Controls & IT infrastructure in assigned areas and supervise contractors.
