Job summary

Mars Henderson, NV is seeking a Senior Controls Technician to join our Maintenance team. You will ensure the efficiency, safety, and reliability of the site’s manufacturing control and electrical operating systems, working with PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and power systems.

You will lead technical development of Maintenance Technicians and manage calibration and related programs. You’ll communicate effectively, own plant performance, and demonstrate coaching and training skills to assess others

Qualifications

3–5 years of Factory Controls & IT experience in manufacturing.
NFPA 70E electrical safety certification or ability to obtain.
Ability to support day, afternoon, or night shifts.

Responsibilities

Identify and implement changes to improve plant performance using control systems.
Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and VFD/servo systems with electrical schematics and tools.
Train Maintenance Technicians in troubleshooting and commissioning electrical devices.
Act as technical resource to operations and maintenance on control issues.
Prepare systems documentation, SOPs, and training materials for automation.
