LONG Building Technologies is seeking an experienced Controls Technician Lead in Colorado Springs to oversee troubleshooting and programming of commercial HVAC temperature control systems on-site. You will coordinate with operations and project managers, guide technicians, and ensure safe, compliant project execution.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to travel to multiple job sites, with a comprehensive benefits package and potential for profit sharing.

Qualifications

• 2 years of computer/electronic technical training or degree and related start-up/commissioning experience.
• Proficiency with KMC, Distech, Tridium/Honeywell controls systems.
• Ability to travel to job sites and lead junior technicians.

Responsabilités

• Communicate regularly with operations managers, project managers, installation supervisors and control technicians regarding scheduling and technical matters.
• Provide technical analysis and recommendations to owners and project team.
• Enhance and document knowledge of technologies and programming skills across manufacturers.
• Develop and maintain procedures for acceptance of completed work and checkout documentation.
• Verify signed checkout docs and ensure records for as-built documentation.
• Assist with training, supervision, and mentoring of Apprentices and less experienced technicians.
