Job summary

LONG Building Technologies is seeking a Controls Technician Lead to oversee troubleshooting and programming of temperature control systems on-site, coordinating with operations and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.

You will guide on-site teams, share knowledge across manufacturers, and help ensure proper checkout and documentation while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 years computer/electronic technical degree
• 4 years temperature control system start-up, checkout, and service experience preferred
• Certifications in KMC, Distech, Tridium/Honeywell
• Ability to travel to and inspect jobsites
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and programming of temperature control systems on site.
• Coordinate with operations managers, project managers, and technicians.
• Ensure safety and code compliance on all worksites.
• Mentor Apprentices and less experienced technicians.
