Job summary

Veregy, a leading decarbonization company, seeks a Sr. Controls Systems Engineer to guide industrial control projects from design through commissioning and closeout, delivering energy optimization services and digital contracts with budget oversight. This role can be fully remote.

You will design, program, and monitor automation systems, lead progress meetings, coordinate with internal teams and clients, and create technical documentation to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree in engineering or eight+ years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of low to medium voltage electrical, control systems and instrumentation.
• Experience leading projects and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Designs, programs, monitors, maintains, and optimizes industrial automation systems.
• Leads project meetings and budget management.
• Creates project schedules and manages documentation.
• Interacts with customers to ensure quality and deadlines.
• Oversees subcontractors and material orders.
• Produces technical documentation and QA/QC deliverables.
