Job summary

Veregy is seeking a Sr. Controls Systems Engineer to guide industrial control system projects from design through commissioning and closeout. The role focuses on energy optimization, digital service contracts, and software services while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The position can be fully remote, with travel typically under 40%. Applicants should have a BS in engineering or 8+ years of related experience, strong knowledge of control systems, networks, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or eight+ years related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Designs, programs, monitors, maintains, and optimizes industrial automation systems and GUIs.
• Assists with and manages digital service projects including budgets and schedules.
• Leads progress meetings, supervises subcontractors, and ensures delivery on time.
• Responds to customer support requests and communicates status updates.
• Creates and manages project implementation schedules and documentation.
• Performs QA/QC on project software and deliverables.
• Manages project budgets and reports progress.
• Develops close-out or system documentation for customers.
