Job summary

Veregy in Columbus, OH is seeking an Engineer II, Controls to design, program, monitor, and optimize building automation systems for diverse client projects. You will deliver BAS performance monitoring, upgrades, energy analytics, and cost estimates, with oversight of project schedules and budgets.

The role requires Siemens BMS experience, remote site work, and strong communication with internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with related experience.
• 3+ years in BAS design, implementation and project management.
• Minimum 1 year in BAS project development or estimating.
• HVAC install experience is a plus.
• Siemens BMS experience is required.
• Ability to work remote at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Designs, programs, monitors, maintains, and optimizes building automation systems and GUIs.
• Reports on service activities and progress regularly.
• Participates in project development and cost estimation activities.
• Responds to and rectifies customer issues or occupant comfort/building automation issues promptly.
• Communicates with internal project resources and verifies contract expectations are met.
• Manages contract budgets and reports progress.
