Job summary

Veregy, an award-winning decarbonization company, is seeking an Application Engineer II in Columbus, OH. You will quickly gain knowledge of Veregy's software products and building automation systems, designing, implementing, and optimizing software that controls commercial facilities.

You will integrate software with solar assets, facility calendars, automation systems, and utility cost management solutions, collaborating with project teams to design and commission solutions, troubleshoot, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field plus 2–5 years in building automation design/implementation.
Experience with building automation system design and implementation is required.
Proficiency with CAD or 3D modeling tools and MS Office is required.

Responsibilities

Assists engineering and project teams with design, programming, and commissioning of Veregy's software solutions.
Writes and optimizes connectors to automate facility tasks to reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency.
Writes and optimizes electrical demand management strategies and reports on performance.
Assists project teams with the creation of design and construction documents related to Veregy's software solutions.
Troubleshoots low voltage circuitry and metering and verifies functional requirements are met.
Responds to and rectifies customer issues or occupant comfort complaints in a timely manner.
