Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead energy-focused control system projects, especially for thermal and electrical energy plants. You will guide design efforts, collaborate with leadership, and drive reliable, high-quality automation across project lifecycles.

The role requires deep expertise in chillers, heat pumps, HRSGs, boilers, switchgear, and related equipment, with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• 10+ years of total experience in control systems engineering.
• 3+ years as a Control Systems Project Engineer II (or equivalent).
• PE licensure and/or relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex control system design and documentation.
• Provide technical direction across multiple projects and teams.
• Mentor engineers and drive design standards and QMS adherence.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet schedule and budget.
• Support business development with technical proposals and presentations.
