Job summary

Form Energy in Weirton, WV is seeking an experienced Controls Supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance of industrial control systems on the production floor. You will oversee Controls Technicians, drive corrective and preventative maintenance, and work closely with Operations and MES teams.

The role reports to the Sustaining Controls Engineering Associate Manager and requires PLC, HMI, and MES improvement execution while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with industrial control systems in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and planning skills with prior supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication; able to translate issues for operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary on-site escalation point for Sustaining Automation Technicians resolving electrical, controls, and OT network issues.
• Coordinate corrective maintenance on the plant floor and guide work orders to completion.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to Automation Technicians on the factory floor.
• Lead and participate in root-cause analysis and system improvements for PLC, HMI, and MES.
• Ensure all equipment operates safely following Safety and Environmental policies.
