Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Controls Manager to lead a skilled team responsible for BMS/EPMS deployment and service within AWS data centers. You will guide engineering operations, manage cross-functional projects, and ensure delivery within budget and schedule.

The role requires ten or more years of controls experience, strong leadership, and a background in electrical/mechanical systems, with a focus on scalable building controls and automation across data center environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading controls in manufacturing or complex industrial environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 10+ years in controls.
• Experience with cross-functional teams on complex construction projects.
• 5+ years of direct people management of controls professionals.
• 6+ years in controls management on large, complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a controls team in industrial environments and report project status.
• Develop launch plans for new hires and identify team needs.
• Oversee installation, programming, and troubleshooting of BMS/EPMS or industrial controls.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and control schematics.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet scope, budget, and timelines.
