Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is looking for a Senior Field Service Technician in Williston, North Dakota, responsible for the startup and commissioning of Caterpillar 3600 series engines. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience, particularly in commissioning and overhauls, and must be proficient in working independently while ensuring both safety and quality of work.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must have a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
• Extensive electrical/control panel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup/commissioning of Caterpillar 3600 series engines.
• Accountable for providing leadership to Field Technicians.
• Independently diagnose system/component failures.

Skills

10+ years performing commissioning/start-ups

Strong mechanical and electrical abilities

Proficiency with PLC software/Micro Processors

Ability to read schematics

Ability to lead installations independently

Education

High school diploma or GED

Tools

Common applicable software functions (Word, Excel, Outlook)
