Job summary

Equinix, the world’s digital infrastructure company, is seeking a Senior Staff Controls Engineer to lead complex control system projects across data centers. You will work with design, site engineering, and regional operations teams, plus external vendors and consultants, to implement policies and optimize system performance.

The role requires deep knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and control systems, and experience leading cross-functional efforts in highly automated environments.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of advanced electrical, fire protection, and HVAC systems operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain complex control systems with advanced diagnostics and repairs.
• Lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior members on projects.
• Develop and implement SOPs and policy documents for controls engineering.
• Review budgets and scopes for control system replacement projects.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams on projects.
