Job summary

Equinix in New York City is seeking a Construction Project Manager to independently lead complex data center construction projects from initiation through handover, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget, quality, and schedule.

You will partner with Design, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Network, and external vendors to deliver capacity and infrastructure investments, applying project controls and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/related field with 7+ years PM experience.
• Experience delivering mission-critical data center construction projects.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, risk and change management.
• Travel up to 30% within the United States, mainly the NE region.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data center construction projects from inception to handover.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk, and readiness objectives.
• Develop plans, cost forecasts, and delivery strategies.
• Ensure adherence to safety, standards, and regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
